I believe in capital punishment but probably not for the reason you think. And I would guess that many of my readers are opposed to capital punishment and apparently with good reason.

Wayne Hansen currently serves as pastor-teacher at Talcottville Congregational Church. He has taught at Bethel University as Professor of Theology and Church History since 1992. In addition he has served as adjunct faculty at The King’s College and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Prior to his involvement in theological education, he served as founding pastor of Beacon Hill Evangelical Free Church in Monroe, CT for 18 years. During his doctoral studies he served as interim pastor to several inner-city churches. Hansen has also been a conference speaker in Austria and the U.S. as well as a lecturer on theology in Russia and the Ukraine.
